how it works

write it, and you're heard

Three quiet steps. No feed to scroll, no audience to perform for.

1

say what you can't

Write one true thing you've never said out loud. No name, no handle, no trace back to you.

2

we keep it safe

Every confession is checked before anyone can see it. Nothing harmful is ever matched or shown.

3

find who felt it too

You're matched to one person who wrote the same ache — and see how many others felt it too.

built safe, on purpose

the absence of a reply channel is the design

We removed everything that lets people hurt each other — then built around what's left.

Never tied to you

Your confession is split from your identity at the source. Even we can't connect it back to you.

No replies, profiles, or DMs

There's no way for anyone to message, follow, or target you. The silence is the safety.

Checked before it's shown

Automated safety review runs on every post before it can ever be matched to another person.

Support, never a sale

If you're in crisis you get resources, never a paywall. Relief is always free — that line never moves.

questions

everything you might ask

What soulyap is, how it stays anonymous, and where to get it.

Is soulyap really anonymous?

Yes. soulyap is built so your confession is split from your identity at the source — there's no public profile, no username on posts, and even we can't connect what you wrote back to you. It's anonymity by architecture, not just by policy.

Is soulyap free?

Yes. Writing a confession, getting matched, and your daily reading are free forever. There's an optional supporter plan for unlimited reading that helps fund human safety review — but it never gates writing, matching, or crisis resources.

Can someone reply to or message me?

No — and that's the point. soulyap has no replies, no DMs, no profiles, and no way to follow or contact another person. Removing the reply channel is the core safety design, so no one can target you for what you said.

What happens when I confess?

You write one true thing you can't say out loud. soulyap matches it to one past confession from someone who felt the same, and shows how many others felt it too — so you leave knowing you're not the only one.

Is soulyap safe?

Every confession is checked by automated safety review before it can ever be shown or matched, every card has a report control, and soulyap is adults-only (18+).

What if I'm in crisis right now?

soulyap is not a crisis or emergency service. If you're in danger or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away. Inside the app, anything that signals crisis is routed to real resources — never to a paywall.

Is soulyap on iPhone and Android?

Yes. soulyap is available on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android — free to download on both.

How is soulyap different from other confession apps?

No feed to doom-scroll and no comments to dread. Instead of broadcasting to a crowd, soulyap gives you one genuine match — the single person who wrote the same ache — in a space designed to be safe and quiet.
